About Stackbrief
What we do
Stackbrief is an independent review site covering back-office software for small B2B companies. Bookkeeping, payroll, expenses, CRM, project management, automation, AI tools, and business banking.
We sign up for each tool, work through the onboarding, and read the actual pricing terms. Our reviews name what each tool does well, what it costs at realistic scale, and where it falls short. If a tool has a meaningful limitation for most small B2B companies, we say so.
Our methodology
Every review follows the same process. We create a free or trial account, test the core workflows a small B2B operator would actually run, and verify pricing against the published terms — including what changes when you add users, connect integrations, or need to export your data.
Ratings are based on five dimensions:
- Ease of use — onboarding friction, interface clarity
- Feature depth — does it do what it claims?
- Pricing fairness — value relative to competitors at the same tier
- Support quality — response times, documentation
- Integrations — compatibility with tools common in small B2B stacks
